I spent 12 years working for a company that imported dried fruit. Over those years I discovered for my self the huge benefits of dried fruit in your diet.
They are definately in my top 10 detox foods and also great as part of a daily diet.
My favorites were prunes, dates and apricots. Apricots without sulphur are far superior to the tart orange apricots that are usually available.
If I ever need something to 'get me going' about 5 dates will do the trick every time.
Go steady though, their effect can be very powerful, best to start by introducing small amounts into the diet and see how your body reacts!
