Natural Antioxidant Vitamins for Your Skin
Use natural antioxidant vitamins to get glowing, soft, smooth skin. You don’t have to spend a fortune either.
Just use the ingredients in your kitchen to make these natural cleansers, scrubs and masks.

I personally use these natural treatments on a regular basis, when I’m not eating the ingredients themselves!
This scrub makes your face feel unbelievably fresh and renewed in the morning. Natural antioxidant vitamins C and D are hard at work protecting your skin from sun-damage and free radicals. Jojoba oil moisturizes and helps balance skin tone.
• 1 tbsp ground up or grated orange rind
• 1 tbsp ground up or grated lemon rind
• 1 tsp jojoba oil
• 3-5 drops grapefruit essential oil
Mix together and apply to face, scrubbing in small circles all over face and neck. Wash off and pat dry. Don’t wipe the oil off; just let your skin gradually absorb it.
Morning Coffee Shower
Thought coffee was for drinking? Green tea might be better beverage when it comes to antioxidants, and steady energy release.
Use your coffee grinds on your skin instead for the skin tightening effects (it exfoliates and minimizes the look of cellulite). Scrub this on before you head into the shower for perked up skin:
• ½ cup coffee grinds
• ½ cup brown sugar
• ¼ cup olive oil
Mix ingredients in a small bowl. Scrub all over your skin (stand in the shower since this can be messy) as hard as you want. Pay special attention to problem areas. Rinse off the coffee and sugar, but let the olive oil penetrate the skin.
Green Face Scrub
This scrub is great for mature, sun-damaged, or dehydrated skin. The salt exfoliates dead skin cells, the parsley provides vitamin C protection, and the avocado acts as a natural collagen booster.
• 1/2 avocado
• 1 tsp finely minced fresh parsley
• 2 tbsp coarse sea salt or rock salt
Mash all ingredients together. Spread on face and massage in small circles. Keep it on for as long as you want, and then wash it off. Pat your face dry gently.
Honey Oat Mask
Use this soothing mask once or twice a week for a more intensive natural antioxidant vitamin treatment.
• 2 tbsp oats
• 2 tsp plain organic yogurt
• 1 tsp honey
Mix and spread onto clean skin, leaving it on for at least 15 minutes. You can eat it when you’re done... Just kidding :) (It does taste good on its own!)

The natural antioxidant vitamins in this mask include carotenoids found in mango and healing enzymes from the papaya. Coconut oil is one of the best moisturizers and can take care of many skin problems, from dryness and blotchiness to acne and scars.
• A few small chunks of mango
• A few small chunks of papaya
• 1 tsp coconut oil (make sure it’s pure/unrefined/virgin)
Mash or blend the ingredients. Spread on your clean face and leave for at least 15 minutes. Wash off and gently pat skin dry.
Hint: Make a double batch because, yes, you do want to also eat this delicious antioxidant treat!
